The Finance Checker helps you manage your money better. Simply enter your income and expenses into the app. The Finance Checker automatically analyzes your entries. This way, you know what you can spend and keep track of your finances.
The Finance Checker is a smartphone app for young people who want to take control of their finances. Therefore, the app does not have an interface to your checking account. Because only those who actively manage their finances truly have a clear overview.
Optionally, starting with version 1.15.2, you can use the Level-Up function to transfer the data you've entered in the Finance Checker to the online budget planner from Geld und Haushalt (Money and Household). This allows you to try out the online budget planner with your own data while the app remains fully functional.

System requirements: Smartphone with Android version 8.0 or higher
Backup/Restore Function
======================================
This function creates a backup file in the external app storage (Android/data/de.guh.finanzchecker/backups) on your smartphone every time the app is started and whenever changes are made. We recommend regularly backing up the file to another device to prevent data loss. You can use the share function to send the backup to yourself via Quick/Nearby Share or email. You can then open and restore the backup file directly within the app.
Data Privacy
===========
The app does not have an account interface. All data is entered by you (transactions, lent/borrowed items) and stored only on your smartphone. Therefore, data analysis by Geld und Haushalt (Money and Household) is never possible.
Only if you use the optional Level-Up feature will your current data be encrypted and transferred to your web budget planner user account.
