With the free Lateinguru app you can quickly and easily look up words in the dictionary and be queried by our versatile vocabulary trainer .


TARGET GROUP
This app is well suited for Latin learners of the first three years of learning, as all the vocabulary that is usually learned in this phase is included in Lateinguru. In addition, the Lateinguru app is also recommended for advanced learners, because with the vocabulary trainer you can choose both "simple" vocabulary from the first years of learning and "difficult" vocabulary for query. Successful repetition of important vocabulary ensures success in translation.


DICTIONARY
The Latin dictionary contains all inflected (= inflected, i.e. conjugated or declined) forms of the Latin words. If you give z. B. senatori , the program assigns the form to the Latin noun senator and displays the associated translation and grammar (genitive, gender, declension, etc.); In addition, a shape analysis is carried out (here: dative singular ).
After clicking on a search result, further information on the vocabulary is listed: grammar, special features, learning aids and, if necessary, one or more form tables.

VOCABULARY TRAINER
With the Lateinguru vocabulary trainer you can be queried according to your wishes. You can choose, among other things, how you enter your answers (text input or selection from three answer options), from which vocabulary vocabulary is queried, and whether the meaning and / or grammar of the vocabulary is checked. You also have the option of viewing the statistical evaluation of your answers.
