About this app

Schoolanizer is the GDPR-compliant school app for teachers, parents, and students. Timetable, class chat, official mailbox, appointments, cafeteria menu, office hours, and all-day care—all in one application—one login, one database, one interface.

EASY REGISTRATION
Parents and students register via QR code—no email confirmation loops, no need for the school to collect private mobile phone numbers. Optionally, from the second launch onward, they can use Face ID or Touch ID.

TIMETABLE WITH SUBSTITUTES
The current timetable in daily and monthly views—including substitutions, cancellations, and room changes. Parents and students can see at a glance what's scheduled for today and what has changed at short notice.

SCHOOL CHAT
Class chats, parent chat rooms, and one-on-one messaging are all available through Schoolanizer. Groups are automatically created from the school's master data – membership changes automatically when a student moves to a different class
without manual intervention. Features include emoji reactions, polls, reply threads, read receipts, and file attachments (PDFs, images, Office documents).

INBOX FOR OFFICIAL NOTICES
The school administration and office staff send letters to parents, approvals, and feedback via the inbox – separate from the everyday chat stream. Recipients can be selected individually or in groups (e.g., all parents of a class). File attachments are limited to 25 MB.

SCHOOL-WIDE EVENTS
School, class, and personal events are consolidated: parent-teacher conferences, class trips, holidays, and exams. Parents automatically see their children's appointments. Push notifications can be disabled per user.

CASME MENU
The daily menu of the school cafeteria with allergen information. Meals can be pre-ordered directly in the app for the coming days.

All-day and afternoon care options with available spaces
and waiting lists. Registration and deregistration are done directly in the app.

SCHOOL-WIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Official school announcements – conference dates,
organizational notices, short-notice information – all in one place, accessible to the entire school community.

DATA PROTECTION THAT RELIEVES SCHOOLS

• Versioned data processing agreement (DPA)

• Audit log of administrative operations (Art. 30 GDPR)

• GDPR data export (Art. 15) and deletion (Art. 17) via a
self-service workflow
