The Keyboard Designer is a complete keyboard that works in every app. Unlike other keyboards, you don't just tweak colours — you build the whole keyboard: arrange keys freely, set sizes, choose labels, assign any function to any key. No other keyboard offers this kind of control.

Privacy guaranteed:
The app requests no permissions whatsoever — not even internet access. That makes it technically impossible for anything you type to leave your device. Passwords, private messages, contact info stay where they belong: with you.

What a good keyboard must deliver:

1. No internet connection
You enter very private data through a keyboard. A keyboard must therefore not request internet permission — only then can your input be guaranteed to stay on your device.

2. Individual adjustments
The keyboard is the most-used app on a mobile device. It must fit the user perfectly — key arrangement, size, labels, colours, functions. With Keyboard Designer you decide every detail.

Ratings and reviews

It's a really good app for designing custom keyboards! The only problem I have is with whenever my keyboard tries to be in capital mode, where it occasionally disappears, and when I switch back to lowercase, it says that an error has occured. Also, whenever it does this, the app itself only shows the keyboard, tab buttons and changelog button and whenever I try to click the middle part where everything else usually is, the app closes. If this didn't happen, I'd rate it 5 stars.

Excellent app! I've never found one that lets you design a keyboard this thoroughly with this much freedom before. It's a bit tricky at first while you figure it out, but it's more than helpful enough to make up for it, and they do have tutorials and templates! 10/10, would definitely recommend especially if you're looking to remap/adjust keys. I type a lot faster with this.

I am using this app to type this review right now, actually. This app offers an extremely flexible platform. You can have basically whatever keyboard you want, with whatever buttons you need. And with a huge library of characters, you'll probably find what you need. That said, learning how to use this app can be a little daunting, and the tutorial isn't much help. A lot has to be learned by oneself. Searching for the right character is also tedious. But there's no other app like it.
