IBUS Mobile combines digital surveying with work preparation and production of sheet metal cladding for technical insulation. Capture complete, coherent 3D isometric drawings directly at the installation site – quickly, intuitively, and even without a constant internet connection.


IBUS Mobile combines digital surveying with work preparation and production of sheet metal cladding for technical insulation. Production-ready data is generated from the drawing:

• Capture pipes, ventilation ducts, caps, transitions, and containers

• Store dimensions, insulation materials, sheathing, connections, and manufacturing parameters

• Check plausibility during the drawing process and identify errors before ordering

• Automatically generate parts lists, shop reports, and manufacturing documents

• Check developments and prepare them for prefabrication

• Automatically nest panels, reduce waste, and generate CNC files

• Synchronize projects, layouts, and isometrics with the shop floor via the IBUS Cloud

Extended functions for mobile use:

• Capture manual measurements from photos or PDF pages within the existing workflow and transfer them to the IBUS Cloud

• Scan or import accompanying documents in catalog orders, upload attachments, and open cloud documents

• Find components via QR code in the assembly assistant with 3D view, material, and location information

• Load cloud isometrics as editable revisions; Transfer orders with clear progress indicators

• Use technical materials and reference data for Dutch and English markets

• Determine material requirements and prices with improved quantity, surcharge, and connection calculations

• Adjust pipe combinations, slip joints, bend tables, and cross-sections of connected runs

• Divide caps and stand-alone end caps more flexibly; plan flange caps with freely selectable division angles and nozzle caps with additional ribbed edges

• Record tanks, vacuum rings, and rain collars with additional mounting options and divisions by angle or number of parts

• Plan pipe sheathing with half coil width for individual elements or connected pipe runs

• Utilize improved unfolding and nesting functions for bends, reducers, caps, collars, and end plates

• Display component comments in multiple lines directly in the drawing and determine delivery weeks from stored lead times

• Include photos and PDF attachments in shop reports; Output additional sheet metal dimensions for ducts and transitions
