The Science Information Service (idw) publishes press releases from more than 1,000 universities, colleges and research institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This makes it the central source for scientific news.

You can use the idw app to access the latest press releases from idw member institutions in real time. In order to see the messages that are relevant to you precisely, define your topics using keywords and put together your personal news ticker. If a suitable report is published, our app will notify you immediately.

An algorithm developed in-house analyzes all idw press releases from the past months and determines relevant keywords that you can then select. We continuously analyze and check the search results and continue to develop the algorithm on this basis.
