About this app

LALINO – the language development app for children aged approximately 3 to 6 years. Many parents notice early on: "My child speaks differently than others" – and at the same time, therapy slots are scarce, waiting lists are long, and everyday life is hectic. LALINO helps you lovingly and playfully support your child's speech development – ​​at home, in between other activities, and at your child's own pace.

The app is primarily aimed at parents who want to support their child with speech delays, pronunciation problems, or sound substitutions – without pressure or overwhelm, but with structure and expert guidance.


LALINO helps you support your child's speech development. Many parents are looking for ways to support their child's language development: • when there are long waiting lists for speech therapy • as a supplement to ongoing speech therapy • to make practicing at home easier and more structured • or simply to allow for more language practice in everyday life without constantly having to "play therapist" themselves.

LALINO was developed in collaboration with speech therapists and is intended as a therapy-accompanying support for families – not as a replacement for speech therapy or a medical evaluation.

How LALINO supports your child: Children learn language by listening, repeating, and practicing. With LALINO, your child practices sounds, syllables, and words in short, child-friendly games. Your child hears a word, repeats it, and receives immediate visual feedback. This creates a natural learning process that motivates without creating pressure to perform. Language Development with the LALAphon Sound Gesture System: LALINO utilizes the specially developed sound gesture system "LALAphon." This system allows sounds to be not only heard but also visually represented. The tiger LALA demonstrates and explains each sound with corresponding gestures. Children see how a sound "feels," hear it clearly pronounced, and can repeat it immediately.

This combination of seeing, hearing, and imitating helps many children to better understand sounds and pronounce them more confidently.

⸻ Learning with LALA – the Talking Tiger: The little tiger LALA accompanies your child and plays with them through the various exercises. Through her facial expressions, gestures, and endearing presentations, sounds become visible and tangible. For many children, it is easier to "see" a sound than to simply have it explained. LALA makes language development emotionally accessible – friendly, encouraging, and without being preachy.
