About this app

innoverein Authenticator is the second factor for your innoverein account. Instead of just using your password, you also log in with your phone – this way, no one can access your account, even if they know your password.

PUSH LOGIN
When you log in to the member area or club administration, a request appears on your phone. It shows where and how someone is trying to log in: portal, browser, device, IP address, and time. You can approve the login – using Face ID, fingerprint, or your app password – or decline it. A declined login is temporarily blocked, and you will receive an email.

ONE-TIME CODES, EVEN OFFLINE
Each account displays a six-digit code that changes every 30 seconds. It is generated on your device and doesn't require a network connection. Tapping the code copies it; the next code appears just before it changes.

CONFIRM SENSITIVE ACTIONS
Even registered users need their phone for sensitive changes: changing their password or email address, managing passkeys, deleting their account, assigning roles, or changing the club's bank details.

YOUR KEYS STAY WITH YOU

• Secrets are stored securely on your device.

• Every app request is signed with a key that never leaves your device.

• A separate app password and, optionally, Face ID or fingerprint authentication – required when opening the app and before each authorization.

• A copied code disappears from the clipboard after 30 seconds.

EASY SETUP
Log in to the member area or club administration, set up two-factor authentication with the "innoverein app" in your profile, and scan the QR code. If you have the innoverein app or the innoverein Admin app on the same phone, it will open the authenticator directly – without scanning.

MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
Membership and club management, various clubs: All accounts are listed in one directory, each with its own label and search function. A history shows what the app has approved or denied on this device.

GOOD TO KNOW

• The app is designed for innoverein accounts and does not accept codes from other services.

• You remove a device in the member area, club management, the innoverein app, or the admin app – using a password and two-factor authentication. A found phone cannot bypass the protection.

• In case of loss, recovery codes, a second device, or your club management system can help.

• German, English, French, Spanish, and Arabic, light and dark modes.
