From now on you do not have to do long-lasting researches anymore – the HandicapX App displays all accessible restrooms close to your current location and the fastest way to get there. Additionally, you can find accessible restrooms worldwide under „search restroom“– a helpful information for your holiday preparation as well.
But the HandicapX App does not only provides a location of an accessible restroom, it also presents many additional information: opening hours, need of a special key, availability of an emergency call, an automatic door as well as the suitability for electric wheelchairs. Furthermore remarks, as level or entry notes are detected.
Public (green) und non-public (red) accessible restrooms are labelled differently.
You can comment on every accessible restroom and read comments of other users. Additionally every restroom can be rated from 1-5 stars for accessibility, cleanliness, equipment and findability.
If a restroom you know is missing, you can use the “Report toilet” section and add it to the database. Also, you can always edit and delete an accessible restroom if changes are necessary. Please always share your knowledge and report changes and new restrooms and help other HandicapX App users for a better accessible lifestyle!
The amount of accessible restrooms can vary between different countries - it depends on how many accessible restrooms were reported by the app users.
