Kaelith is a collectible card game. You lay down resources, summon creatures, and reduce your opponent to zero before they reduce you to zero. Whoever has to draw from an empty deck also loses.
THE GAME
Eight territories set the tone: five elements and three races. Each has an advantage against two others and a disadvantage against two. When attacking, you should know who you're targeting, because the advantage only applies against the territory it's applied to. A fire attack on a grove is different from the same attack on stone.
Each round, you decide for each creature whether it attacks or defends. A player who focuses entirely on attack is clearly identified. A player who focuses entirely on defense never wins.
Cards can be merged. Three probable creatures of the same race become a dragon, and the conditions are clearly stated so you can play towards it.
ALONE OR IN A CROWD
On the practice area, you play against the computer. Five short lessons demonstrate each move, and there's a full game available in three difficulty levels: The easy opponent only attacks when a win is certain. The hard opponent attacks even in close exchanges.
You can play against other players in teams of two or four, or team against team. You create tables yourself, either with a code or open to everyone.
COLLECT
Over a thousand cards, distributed across batches. What's in a closed batch stays in it: New cards are added to new batches, and old ones are not reprinted. The album shows what's missing.
Crystals are the in-game currency. You earn them by playing. They can never be withdrawn.
NO
No ads. No waiting times that can be bought. No account with anyone else.
