The KiKA Player app is the free media library from the children's channel from ARD and ZDF and offers children's series, children's films and videos for children to stream and watch offline, as well as the TV program in live stream.

In the KiKA player you can easily find many programs, children's series and children's films from KiKA. 📺 TV PROGRAM
Do you want to know what's on TV? The KiKA TV program is always available as a live stream. Your child can jump back in time two hours and watch the programs they just missed. And it sees everything else that is being broadcast today.
✈️ MY OFFLINE VIDEOS
Are you on the go with your kids and don't have WiFi or enough mobile data to watch your favorite series? Simply save videos in your offline area beforehand. With the KiKA Player app, kids can watch our children's program anytime and anywhere - whether at home or on the go.

The younger child particularly likes KiKANiNCHEN, Super Wings and Shaun the Sheep, but the older sibling would rather watch the knowledge formats and series for older people such as Checker World, logo!, PUR+, the WGs or The Best Class in Germany? Each child can create their own profile and save their favorite videos in the like area, watch videos they have started later in the continue watching area or save them for offline use. Whether it's a heart-shaped bear, a cyclops, a unicorn or a rabbit - everyone can choose their own avatar and customize the app for themselves.
📺 STREAM VIDEOS ON TV
Is your tablet or cell phone too small for you? Would you rather watch your favorite series or films together as a family or with friends? With Chromecast you can stream the videos to the big screen. The KiKA player is also available as an HbbTV offer on the smart TV. This way you can bring the children's program directly into your living room.
ℹ️ INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
The family-friendly KiKA Player app is protected and age-appropriate. Only children's films and children's series that are appropriate for children are shown. Based on the age stated in the profile, only age-appropriate videos are recommended. In the parents' area, parents will find additional functions to make the offer even more individual for their children. It is possible to limit the viewing of videos throughout the app to preschool films and series. The live stream can be switched on and off. You can also set the available video time using the app alarm clock. As usual, the public children's program remains free, non-violent and without advertising.

The latest version of the app doesn't open on a Pixel 8a (Android 15)

Thank you for your feedback! The problem will be resolved in the next version 3.0.7. If you don't want to wait, you can now delete the KiKA Player app and reinstall the current version 3.0.6, this will also resolve the problem. Best regards from the KiKA team
