FREE OFFLINE MAPS
You can download our hiking and biking maps for free and use them offline. You can also plan your own routes and record your adventures.

You have the choice: Unlock individual guides or get them all in the low-priced Gold subscription. This gives you access to all tours from Rother, all premium maps from freytag & berndt, Swisstopo and the satellite map. You can save tours and locations in your own lists, so you can keep track of everything.

If you already have a book from us, you can import the GPS data into the app for free, but not unlock the corresponding guide for free.

Ratings and reviews

Impractical and unintuitive in use. You have to unpack each tour gpx of a book with 60 tours individually to make them available in the app. I'd rather use the paper version and then find a tour on a different app.

Revised review based on feedback from devs: after adding the book to the app, it works as expected. In the book itself, it does not mention that option (only that I can download and import the tracks).

Updating my previous review. After contact from the app developers it was clarified that the app works in conjunction with the book - if you know how/where to "unlock" it. That is not clearly stated anywhere, I guess the younger generation would probably not have had any trouble with it. However, a better description in the book, or a "hint" when trying to open a locked hike on the map, would possibly be a good idea.
