About this game

Who is behind the crime? In Codex7 you investigate together, but one of you is playing a double game.

Codex7 is a detective and social-deduction game for 3 to 6 players. No friends around? No problem! Play solo against clever computer opponents.

The goal:
A gang of exactly three culprits is on the loose. Walk across the city map and question witnesses at the café, post office, bakery, gas station and more. Each witness tells you how many of the observed suspects belong to the gang. Combine the statements and the culprit trio can be deduced for certain.

The betrayal:
One of the players is secretly the accomplice. Only they know the real culprits and they are allowed to lie. They spread false statements, bribe witnesses and disrupt your investigation. Your task: separate truth from lies. Compare the clues, expose the contradictions and figure out who you can trust.

Investigate:
• Notebook: your private findings.
• Newspaper: share clues publicly or, as the accomplice, sow doubt.
• Mark suspects with a tap: red (suspect), green (cleared), neutral.
• Call a case meeting, accuse a trio and vote together.

Are you the Accomplice?
Then only you know the culprit trio. Lead the others astray, but carefully, or you'll be exposed. Use bribery and disruption wisely. You win if a wrong trio is accused or time runs out without anyone unmasking you.

Who is it for?
Fans of social deduction, mystery, puzzles and bluffing. If you love Werewolf/Mafia, detective puzzles or deducing together, Codex7 is your case.

• 3-6 players or solo vs. bots
• Short, gripping rounds
• Logic, deduction and a good poker face
• Free to play

Grab your notebook, question the witnesses and catch the gang – before the accomplice outsmarts you.
