Ratings and reviews

Better than a lot of other shared grocery apps I've tried, both open source and not. Has a few problems: when one person updates their categories (by name or icon) the updates don't always show up for the other person even after updating. Lists sort by categories automatically but you can't sort by other things like alphabetically or date added. Biggest problem is that you can't add notes to an item on the list.

Simple app that does exactly what I need. Helps organize shopping so I'm not over spending. It's intuitive and the easiest to use out of several similar apps I tried. I paid to remove the ads, even though they weren't that intrusive, because I plan to use this app for a long time to come. Totally worth it.

EDIT: The developer has answered my question. It turns out the functionality I wanted was there and I just hadn't found it. Updating my rating to 5 stars to reflect both the quality of the app and the responsiveness of the developer. Simple and easy to use, but lately checked off items seem to be vanishing from my list. I like to keep all items in the "recently checked off" area, especially if I only buy them occasionally because it helps me remember to look and see if I need to get more when I'm making my list. Recently I've noticed that these rarely purchased items disappear after a while. I suppose I could be accidentally deleting these things, but I never notice it happen with the stuff I buy regularly, so that seems unlikely I would like to hear from the developer whether this is a bug or a feature, and if there's any way to disable it so I never lose items.
