About this app

The simplest way to determine pH or the concentration of chemicals in aqueous solutions- Use the MQuant® StripScan app for fast and reliable test strip readout! The app guides you through the measurement process of MQuant® test strips, reads out the result by camera, and conveniently visualizes and saves your measurements.
• No more guessing: instrumental readout rather than color matching by eye
• Superior precision: results are provided with finer graduation, with warnings if critical measurement interferences are detected
• Data storage and traceability: enriched datasets are stored automatically. Forget pen and paper!
• Visualizations and analyses: organize and group your data

It only works if the lighting is just right. If you are in a lab or home kitchen, it's gonna be too bright and it's not going to work. If you move to a somewhat dim, but not too dim, room and make sure your phone isn't creating any shadow or glare the pH strip reader works. Be patient and be prepared to waste time and several strips practicing. Why do you think you need my location data?

The camera functionality is awful. After trying numerous times, it was impossible to line up the camera with the reference using my phone. Either the app or the reference needs to be redesigned. because as it is now, it is not at all user friendly and impossible to use.

Terrible. Doesn't work without Internet access and we have bad reception in the lab. It's way too hard to get the perfect focus, lighting, and alignment before it times out. If it worked it would be helpful for colorblind people.
