Trommelfeuer 1914-18 is a hex-grid wargame that combines historical atmosphere with deep, turn-based gameplay: move infantry, cavalry, artillery, tanks, and aircraft across a tactical hex battlefield, use cover and terrain to your advantage, and lead your troops from the first trench battles of 1914 to the decisive battles of 1918.

Whether as a gripping solo campaign, a free battle on randomly generated maps, or a direct duel against other players – Trommelfeuer 1914-18 offers the right mode for every kind of player. As a turn-based strategy game with no time pressure, you can plan every move carefully and tailor your tactics precisely to your opponent and the terrain.

GAME MODES

• Historical Campaign: Experience the First World War across multiple phases from 1914 to 1918 and lead your army from victory to victory.
• Single Battles: Choose your map size and jump straight into a battle with a freely selectable map seed – every match is different.
• Asynchronous Multiplayer with Leaderboard: Start matches by code or publicly, play several duels in parallel, and climb the leaderboard. You don't need to be online at the same time – make your move whenever it suits you.

TACTICS AND UNITS

• Tactical Depth: Forests, rivers, bridges, and open fields affect cover, visibility, and movement – those who dig in survive longer.
