Supports a two-way radio simulator The app helps you prepare for the practical parts of the VHF radio operator's certificate exams. The simulator's interface is very simple: you have to arrange suggested message fragments in the correct order. This allows you to learn interactively how to structure distress, urgency, and safety messages, relays, acknowledgments, routine traffic, etc. Each run is different – ​​the identifiers of the participating radio stations, positions, etc., are generated anew each time. The app also includes a simplified DSC simulator. While this doesn't offer a true-to-life simulation of the actual exam equipment, it gives you a first impression of how to operate modern marine radios.

The marine radio app also helps you prepare for the theoretical exam. The integrated theory trainer includes the questions for the German radio operator's certificates SRC, LRC, and UBI (including adaptation and supplementary exams). Incorrectly answered questions can be retaken separately, and a mock exam with random questions and a time limit is also available!

Furthermore, the app helps you build a vocabulary for communicating in nautical English. A vocabulary trainer is provided, containing over 100 nautical terms. The app also includes English maritime radio texts, complete with translations and a dictation function. Still having trouble with spelling? You can also learn the spelling alphabet with the app! It even has its own quiz for that.
