About this app

owntix Scanner is the entry app for event organizers and their staff. Scan tickets at the entrance via QR code, verify them in seconds, and let guests in without waiting in line.


FAST AND RELIABLE

- Scan QR tickets and validate them in seconds

- Clear results in traffic light colors: valid (green), already redeemed (yellow), invalid (red)

- Focused interface, optimized for fast door processing

EVEN WITHOUT A NETWORK

- QR recognition runs entirely on the device, without an internet connection or Google Play Services

- Ticket data is cached locally before the event

- Offline scans are automatically synchronized as soon as a connection is available

- Entry also works in halls and basements without reception

MULTIPLE ENTRANCES

- Pair the device with your event once via QR code or access code

- Manage any number of scanners, for example, front entrance, back entrance, south entrance

- Each entry is assigned to the correct scanner

SINGLE TICKETS AND SEASON PASSES

- Single tickets and season passes are supported

- Season passes are valid only once per event; multiple entries are automatically detected

- Validity period and Entry limits are checked

EVENT OVERVIEW

- Check-in and capacity analysis directly in the app

- Purely statistical view for event organizers; no ticket sales in the app

- Add more scanners with a single tap

DATA PROTECTION
- No tracking, no advertising SDKs, no advertising IDs

- Camera images do not leave the device; only the QR code is processed

- Data is used exclusively for the entry function

owntix Scanner is part of the owntix ticketing platform. You need an owntix event organizer account to use it. Accounts are created and managed in the owntix web dashboard, not in this app. Tickets are sold exclusively through the owntix web platform.
