A top-class collection of Renaissance and Baroque art and culture is presented in the only original Renaissance castle in the Rhineland. Rheydt Castle was built and inhabited by the von Bylandt noble family. Their story runs like a red thread through the exhibition. Go on a discovery tour! The app provides information on all the exhibits in the style of an audio guide, explaining the background and special features.

In a second feature, let the museum team guide you through the house. Discover the past in a special way at twenty selected stations. Using AR technology, together with the museum staff, immerse yourself in the world of the nobility in earlier centuries and learn about previously unknown things.
