Full money refund is available upon request. Test whether the recording is working properly. Audio files do not need to be created: Simply press the pause button to switch to record standby mode, and a potential file name will appear. The date and time, level meter, and monitor settings will work. If you activate "Monitor", headphones prevent feedback.

Test presets that you select by tapping "Factory". You might find a preset in our cloud that's a good fit for your device. Then test the input configurations from "In:MicA" to "In:Raw".

Tips

⚫ The name of a preset turns gray when it is modified
⚫ During playback, quiet recordings can be amplified with e.g. "Play +40dB", never too loud thanks to the playback limiter
⚫ Tap the "Time/Position/Free" field: shows the remaining recording time
⚫ Tap the battery symbol: toggles between battery and CPU usage
⚫ Tap "Dim": the screen always stays on
⚫ Tap "CLP": clears the clip LEDs
⚫ Tap the level meter: opens its settings
⚫ The levels can show either peak values or the control signal for autostart/auto-email
⚫ Active auto start overrules pressing the pause button
⚫ Autostart via specific manual pausing of recording
⚫ The autostart control signal is optimized for speech with a 1.5kHz filter. 750Hz better suppresses high-frequency interference, 3kHz low-frequency interference
⚫ Limiter and soft clipping only work when boost is above 0dB
⚫ Soft clipping begins above -3dBFS
⚫ Overwriting and appending modify existing files (warning can be disabled)
⚫ Saving as a 24-bit recording with Android 12+

Ratings and reviews

The user interface is a lot different from what people are used to. But, it has a lot of settings that people who are more picky about their audio maybe interested in. And, once you get used to the weird UI, it actually is pretty quick and easy to use. Sometimes, people need to think outside of the box to make things that actually work the way brains work, instead of the ways that brains have been forced to work in the past and have simply become accustomed to.

This is excellent. I use it primarily to record jam sessions and band practices. Sound is very good and recording options are plentiful. I have a couple suggestions. Please add an option to "Cast" playback to Chromecast speakers or a Chromecast dongle. Currently, without plugging a cable into the phone that is used for recording or using Bluetooth, there is no way to hear the recording in high quality. Please also add a way to trim the files.

I don't usually get a paid app like this but decide to take a chance because of the listed features. There are so many options to fine tune the app and the recordings. My Motorola One Ace 5G can record in stereo using the internal microphones. True strereo recording holding the phone sideways! Top of the phone records on left and bottom records on the right. No issues so far. * 2 years later update : Still using this app on the same phone. Still works great with zero issues.
