For the planning and design of a heating and air conditioning system in the context of a new building or a renovation, the heating load must be determined. But the calculation is usually complicated, especially for existing buildings. Based on the requirements of DIN EN 12831, Resideo has developed an app that supports this. It meets the requirements of procedure B and is recognized for state funding.

Each user can create several projects or buildings of their own. By entering a few parameters and the room data with areas, floors and ceilings, the app automatically determines the heating load and specifies the ideal valve presettings. Clear categories help classify the areas depending on the insulation effect and the proximity to outside air, the ground or unheated rooms. Heat losses caused by air changes and windows and doors are also taken into account.

As an app, Resideo's heat load calculation is a practical tool for energy experts and tradespeople. The application on site on the construction site is particularly easy, because the app also works offline.
