I'm pleased to hear Quandoo is phasing out and leaving business. This app has always been very troublesome to use. You see yourself clicking and clicking again and searching for a restaurant you want without finding it, and having to go back and forth until you can actually book... right now, after all time spent, it gives you a "sorry, we couldn't make your reservation. Let's try again" and you do, redo, close app and do all over again, without success, and end up to book over the phone.

I had an unsatisfactory experience with this service. I made a restaurant reservation through it, but my points were deducted approximately one to two weeks later. When I inquired about the deduction, I was informed that the reservation was made on the restaurant's website, not through the service. Even after providing proof that I used the service, the same explanation was repeated. Ultimately, I did not receive my points despite booking through the service.

Quandoo has a very unusual policy whereby they cannot undo a "No Show" even after the end users have proved that they had attended their reservation (and that the vendors had made a mistake). This has happened twice and each time I have lost out on Quandoo points and cashback (by booking via Shopback) which I could have earned by booking on another platform. For this reason I would recommend others to use Chope or other platforms.
