SAYA is your personal safety app that helps you move more safely and confidently in public spaces. With just one click, you can let your selected emergency contacts know that you need help by raising the alarm and sending them your exact GPS data.
"Manage and inform emergency contacts"
You decide who your emergency contacts are! With SAYA you can easily invite and manage your emergency contacts. When you trigger the alarm, your selected contacts will be immediately notified and receive your exact GPS location to help you.
Quick activation in an emergency
In an emergency, simply pressing a button in the app is enough to trigger a loud alarm. This deters potential attackers and alerts those around you. Your emergency contacts will immediately receive your accurate GPS data.
When you trigger the alarm, there is a 10 second countdown during which you can still cancel the alarm before it triggers automatically. If you need to go faster, you can skip this countdown and trigger the SOS alarm immediately. Alternatively, you can activate a silent alarm, which will not sound an audible alarm but will automatically notify your emergency contacts.
Notifications even in silent mode
It's easy to miss important notifications when your phone is set to silent or do not disturb. SAYA ensures your emergency contacts are always notified, even when your phone is on silent, so no alarm goes unheard when it really matters. This option can be disabled, although we do not recommend this to ensure your security.
Important emergency numbers always at hand
We have put together a list of important emergency numbers that can be helpful both in acute situations and in general if you need support. You can find these under the menu item “Emergency numbers” in the app.
Fake call function
If you feel unsafe in a situation but don't want to trigger the alarm straight away, you can choose the fake call. You will receive a loud call with an intercom voice so you can pretend to be having a conversation. Don't worry, this call is not real, it's a "fake", but it seems very realistic. You can also find the fake call under the menu item “Emergency numbers” in the app.
