About this app

Amiga Mod Guru is a Mod Player for retro Amiga MOD files generated with Protracker, Soundtracker, Noisertracker...
It supports 4 - 32 channel tracked files.
You can switch between file loader, module info and module visualisation (oscilloscope).
Playing in background is also supported.

This is my first Android App and perhaps there are still some bugs in the player. Please contact me, if you find some :-)

Only thing I wished it had, was the ability to adjust stereo separation. And I wished It could play each sample and alter them, like you could in protracker. Maybe even an optional protracker 2.3 shell. Otherwise, Absolutely the best music app ever Best app for playing the best music format ever

Thank you very much! Unfortunately, I'm not working on the player anymore. Maybe when I have more time. But there will be not edit functions, it's just a player. Have fun with the good old Amiga music :-)

Functional, but could use some improvement: notably, there seems to be interpolation on the waveforms, which, while okay for regular samples, makes chiptunes somewhat annoying to listen to for me. I like my waves crispy, so adding a Blep synthesis interpolation option (or nearest-neighbour) would be great.

Hi, thanks for your review! You're right, there's a linear interpolation on the waveforms which most trackers used back then (like fast tracker). I guess the interpolation methods you mentioned would not sound better on Chiptunes. If you like it crispy, you need an option to disable interpolation. Unfortunately, I have no time for this atm. Sorry!

Nice player, but it forces my phone to display a flashing blue light while a track is playing without my permission. This is a battery drain and, coupled with the lack of settings or options, means that the app is not relevant to my needs.

That's funny. I don't set any lights on. Do you know, why your phone displays the blue light? Is this a notification light?

- Activated notification for Android 8+ devices
