Privacy by design:
Private QR Scanner does not upload your scans. Camera frames are processed locally and are not saved by the app. If you scan from an image, the app reads only the image you selected for code detection and does not keep a copy.
Local history is optional and off by default. If you enable it, scanned content, scan type, and scan time are stored only on your device. You can delete individual entries, clear all history, or turn history off again.
Data leaves your device only when you choose an Android action, such as opening a link, sharing a result, adding a contact, creating a calendar event, sending an email, calling a number, or opening Wi-Fi settings. Those actions are handled by Android or by the app you choose.
Private QR Scanner is designed for everyday use, events, tickets, menus, product labels, website links, contact cards, Wi-Fi codes, and quick local workflows without unnecessary data collection.
Offline QR and barcode scanner with no ads, tracking, or cloud.
