Solar-Dash shows you what your photovoltaic system is currently performing—live and in retrospect. A small gateway on your inverter collects the data, which the app then retrieves and presents in an easy-to-understand way.
At a glance: See in a graph where your electricity is currently flowing: from the PV system to your house, into the battery storage, or into the grid. This includes daily yield, total yield, self-sufficiency, and self-consumption—a tap opens the daily history with totals and peak values. If you have a battery storage system, you can see the charge level, charging, and discharging power in real time. You can also keep an eye on the most important values as a widget on your home screen, without even opening the app.
History: View today, a single day, the month, or the entire year. The graph shows exactly where your electricity came from and where it went. Hovering your finger over the graph displays the values for any given time. Below: yield, the source of your consumption, feed-in to the grid, and grid consumption—the latter two shown directly in euros, according to your own tariffs.
``` Forecast
The weather forecast for the next few days and how much energy you can expect to generate, in kWh and euros. The estimate becomes more accurate each week as it learns from your system's actual output.
Excess Charging
If there's more PV power available than you currently need, Solar-Dash automatically or manually activates a connected device, such as your immersion heater. Currently, only Tongou devices are supported for this.
Notifications
With a full subscription, you'll receive a message when your battery is full or nearly empty, when your system starts generating power again in the morning, or if it's unreachable.
Your Devices
Solar-Dash supports Huawei SUN2000 inverters with LUNA2000 batteries via the SDongle, even in cascade configurations with up to 10 inverters. If a Huawei wallbox is also installed, the connection currently doesn't work—both share the Modbus interface. For SMA systems, Sunny Island devices including batteries are supported, optionally supplemented by a Delta inverter via the DC1 data logger. For each inverter, you can see the model, power output, operating status, voltage and current per string, as well as its last known status.
You can log in with a password, passkey (fingerprint or facial recognition), or your Google or Apple account. The app adapts to your system's light or dark theme, and you can delete your account directly within the app at any time.
Solar-Dash works with a Solar-Dash gateway connected to your system and a compatible access point.
Which systems are supported?
Solar-Dash currently works with inverters from Huawei, SMA, and Delta. More manufacturers will be added soon—if yours isn't listed yet, let us know.
