Digital delivery notes for utility-scale PV. Sunventory transforms material logistics on PV construction sites from paper-based to a clear, traceable process. The app is the mobile companion to the web platform sunventory.de: Data is recorded on the construction site, analyzed at the office, and both access the same database.
This is often how everyday life looks today: The delivery note arrives on paper and disappears into a folder. Quantities are communicated via WhatsApp and get lost in the chat history. The target/actual comparison ends up in an Excel spreadsheet that no one keeps up to date. Shortages are only noticed when the material is missing. Sunventory consolidates these processes in one place.
SCAN THE DELIVERY NOTE: The truck arrives, the load is unloaded. You photograph the delivery note, and Sunventory reads it: The supplier and items are recognized and compared with the construction site's bill of materials, and the quantities are taken from the spreadsheet. You review the suggestions and confirm. Text recognition runs directly on the device via Apple Vision (German and English) — the document never leaves your iPhone for recognition.
WORK OFFLINE
Reception is often weak on construction sites. Sunventory records deliveries even without a connection and places them in a queue. As soon as a connection is re-established, the entry and photo are transferred.
MANAGE DELIVERIES
Recorded deliveries can be viewed, checked, and confirmed by the site manager. You can browse through deliveries, open the delivery note photo, share it as needed, for example, for accounting or purchasing, and edit or delete entries if corrections are required. This ensures that every item remains documented and assigned to a construction site.
BILL OF MATERIALS AND TARGET/ACTUAL QUANTITIES
The bill of materials shows the planned quantity and the actual quantity already delivered for each item. Site managers and purchasing staff create items, maintain the values directly in the app, and identify shortages early before they disrupt the construction process.
OVERVIEW PER CONSTRUCTION SITE
Delivery progress, material categories, trends, and recent deliveries at a glance. This ensures that the status of a construction site remains transparent without having to search through spreadsheets.
CONSTRUCTION SITE AND TEAM
Create, edit, and archive construction sites. Invite people, assign roles, and deactivate access. The roles of Site Management, Purchasing, Asset Management, and Operations reflect the responsibilities on the construction site. Sunventory is multi-tenant capable and suitable for multiple companies with multiple construction sites.
MULTILINGUAL
The app is available in German, English, Russian, Slovak, and Ukrainian and supports light and dark modes. This allows mixed teams to work in their respective languages.
DATA IN GERMANY
Sunventory is hosted in a data center in Germany by IONOS itself. There is no US cloud, no ad tracking, no advertising IDs, and no app tracking across providers. Document recognition is performed on-device via Apple Vision; no data is transferred to third parties or to the cloud for recognition purposes. The camera and photo library are used exclusively for delivery note photos. Registration is done via a token, which is securely stored on the iOS Keychain.
Sunventory is aimed at companies implementing PV and solar construction projects and wanting to streamline their material logistics from paper-based to a clear, streamlined process: scan the delivery note, have it confirmed by the site manager, and always keep track of planned and actual quantities. An account is required to use the service.
