WHAT IS VERTIDISAN?
Vertidisan® is a medical vertigo therapy app for multimodal balance therapy at home. It is a medical product with clinically proven effectiveness and penetration-tested data security.
Vertidisan means: 90-day, daily, digitalized dizziness exercise therapy at home with a medical health app. The medical vertigo app is used to treat vertigo such as positional vertigo, Menière's disease, neuronitis vertigo or chronic vertigo.
HOW DOES VERTIDISAN WORK?
Vertidisan has an anti-vertigo effect through so-called CVC activation in the brain. CVC means "central vertigo compensation" through so-called neuronal learning of the central balance function system (central dizziness compensation).
HOW IS THE PROCESS?
Exercise at home for 10-20 minutes every day.
WHAT IS THE CONTENT OF VERTIDISAN?
(1) Vestibulomotor and vestibulo-ocular balance training using ABEV: Adaptive balance exercises including visual stimulation.
(2) CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapy to better cope with dizziness stress, dizziness sleep disorders and fear of dizziness.
(3) MC: Medical counseling, in which the therapy is explained to you in detail.
(4) PMR: Progressive muscle relaxation of tense muscles.
(5) AG: Autogenic training to perceive your body balance.
(6) GE: Health education knowledge base to help you better understand the causes and treatment of dizziness.
(7) OEP: Otago Exercise program to strengthen your muscles to maintain balance.
(8) TFB: Therapy progress reports that you can present to your doctor.
(9) Interoperability with many physicians' EHRs and patient information systems.

In Vertidisan your data is safe. The data protection measures are extremely extensive. Penetration tests carried out by the Federal Office for Information Security, the German cyber security authority, have proven that even experienced specialists could not penetrate the DiGA.
