About this app

WatzContacts automatically transfers your business contacts from Lexware Office to your Android smartphone's native phonebook.

This allows you to instantly identify which customer, supplier, or business contact is calling when you receive an incoming call—without having to manually enter phone numbers on your smartphone.

Business contacts automatically on your smartphone

WatzContacts synchronizes names and business phone numbers from Lexware Office with your native Android phonebook. New and modified contacts are automatically transferred. If contacts or phone numbers are removed from Lexware Office, they are also updated on your smartphone.

Instantly identify callers

When a synchronized business contact calls, Android can immediately display their name. Your business contacts are also listed by name in your call log.

Also compatible with telephony apps and cloud-based phone systems

WatzContacts saves your Lexware Office contacts as native Android contacts. This allows telephony apps that access the Android phonebook to use these business contacts for contact display and caller ID.

Examples include Android apps from STARFACE, NFON Cloudya, sipgate, Placetel, easybell, and 3CX.

Specific usage depends on the app version, configuration, and the Android contact permissions granted. There is no partnership or direct technical integration between WatzContacts and the aforementioned telephony providers.

No duplicate contact management

Lexware Office remains your central data source. Phone numbers do not need to be manually saved and updated on individual smartphones.

Data-saving synchronization

WatzContacts only transmits the data required for contact display: names and business phone numbers. Your existing private phonebook is not uploaded to the WatzContacts server.


How to set it up

Important: Registration is required before using the app at watzcontacts.de.

1. Register your company at watzcontacts.de.

2. Confirm your business email address.

3. Receive your personal WatzContacts registration code.

4. Install WatzContacts from Google Play.

5. Enter the registration code once in the app.

Afterward, WatzContacts will automatically keep your business contacts up to date.

Requirements

WatzContacts is intended for businesses in Germany. A Lexware Office account with API support is required for the current Lexware Office integration.
