WEA Spotter is the app for everyone who wants to not only see wind turbines, but also identify and collect them. Like Trainspotting, but for wind turbines.

You stand in front of a turbine, point your phone at it, and the app uses your location and direction of view to determine the manufacturer and turbine type. This information is cross-referenced with the official market master data register, which contains data on almost all wind turbines in Germany.

Every turbine identified is added to your personal logbook. Common models like the Enercon E-82 are ubiquitous, but rare types and older limited-production models are true trophies. Collect manufacturers, unlock achievements, and see how complete your collection is.
