Discover Math – Step by Step with Wiesel

Whether it's first addition problems or the multiplication tables: With WieselWissen, children in grades 1–4 practice math on their Android tablet. Learning games, clear explanations, and mental math exercises help them understand calculation methods and solidify what they've learned.

A worksheet editor is included for parents and teachers: Create suitable exercises and export problems and solutions separately as PDFs – for printing and further practice.

PRAISE MATH THROUGH PLAY

On the playground, children discover different math topics: numbers and quantities, addition and subtraction, multiplication problems, and fractions. In addition, there are exercises on money, time, lengths, weights, shapes, and dates. The selection of games and exercises is tailored to the grade level.

PROGRESS STEP BY STEP

The learning path leads through progressively challenging stations and topics. When your child completes a full practice round with at least 90 percent correct answers, the next station unlocks. Further areas become accessible as soon as the necessary foundations are mastered.

There are no additional waiting periods. Unlocked content is retained, and exercises can be repeated for reinforcement.

UNDERSTANDING AND REFERRING TO MATH

What does a mathematical term mean? How can a rule be applied? In Wiesel's Math Quiz, children explore mathematical terms through examples and exercises. Easy-to-understand mnemonic devices help with understanding. The glossary and Wiesel's Knowledge Box offer explanations for review and further study.

TRAIN MENTAL Arithmetic, RECOGNIZE PROGRESS

With targeted exercises, children practice working with numbers and arithmetic operations. Personal profiles, achievements, and statistics make their individual development visible. The Wiesel app guides them through the various learning opportunities.

CREATE YOUR OWN WORKSHEETS

With the worksheet editor, parents and teachers can design individual A4 worksheets. Select tasks and adjust the number range, number of problems, layout, and other settings to suit the specific learning needs.
