When the encrypted file attachment is opened, it is transferred to the SX-MailCrypt email encryption appliance via a secure SSL connection and displayed there decrypted after entering the associated password. Thanks to this so-called two-factor authentication, the confidentiality of the e-mail message is guaranteed and protected against phishing attacks.

Please note that the "Secure Webmail App" must send the encrypted file attachment over the Internet to decrypt a Secure Webmail message and that connection fees may vary depending on the size of the Secure Webmail message. If a WiFi connection is available, this has priority. Warning: high roaming charges may apply abroad!
