YouSpeed turns your smartphone into a driver assistance system for any car, whatever its age. Keep speed limits in view, hear alerts and record your drives. No built-in vehicle system required.

Automatic traffic sign recognition uses your phone's camera and runs on your device. Country models cover hundreds of traffic sign classes, including speed limits and additional road signs. Choose sound or spoken feedback. Supported signs and recognition availability depend on the country and installed model.

Core driving features need no account. No advertising or tracking SDKs. On supported devices and languages, correct speed limits by voice. Capture street photos and review them before choosing an optional Panoramax upload.

Set up YouSpeed while parked. Camera recognition can miss or misinterpret signs; availability depends on the installed country model and device. Map coverage and penalty information vary by country. Traffic signs, traffic rules and official decisions remain authoritative. YouSpeed cannot guarantee the applicable speed limit or a legal outcome.

Core driving features do not require an account. Camera and microphone access are optional. Photos can be captured automatically while moving with the app open when photo capture is enabled. Full street photos and dashcam videos stay on your device until you choose to share or upload them. Panoramax uploads require a connected account, an internet connection and your selection; uploaded photos include location and capture metadata. Local diagnostic logging is enabled by default and can be switched off. No advertising or tracking SDKs.

Behind Info, browse country-specific speeding fine tables and a traffic-sign catalogue with pictograms and spoken names in English, French, German and Dutch. The reference pages are available offline and are not legal advice.

Optional sign contributions: with your permission, detected sign classes, scores, observation times and GPS positions are sent to the private YouSpeed sign database using a random installation ID. The daily collection plan selects cropped sign photos for automatic upload, including over mobile data; negative examples are always selected. Offline crops may wait locally for up to seven days. Withdraw permission or request deletion in Settings. Recognition works without contribution permission. This does not publish full photos to Panoramax.
