Included in this work are wild species of the genera Arbutus (12) and Comarostaphylis (19) (ERICACEAE), commonly known as arbutus. These are important elements of the temperate forests of Mexico.
Each genre includes interactive keys and fact sheets. Interactive keys include location by state and a series of morphological characteristics of the plant. The user can select filters to obtain a list of species that match the indicated characteristics. The sheets include a description and photographs of each species to verify the results.
