Purl brings together an offline music player, MP3 player, video player, podcast player and internet radio for Android. Listen to the songs on your phone without internet, watch the videos on your device, discover new podcasts and tune in to live radio from different countries. Manage your playlists, favorites and play queue from a single app.

Offline music and MP3 player:

Purl plays the music files on your device without an internet connection. Browse your songs by album and artist; find the track you want with search and sort options. Create your own music playlists, edit their details and change the order of songs. Control your listening with shuffle, repeat and the play queue. While music plays in the background, manage playback with the mini player and lock screen controls.

Discover, follow and download podcasts:

Discover podcasts that interest you by language and category; browse curated recommendations. Follow the shows you love and see their new episodes in a separate section. If you allow notifications, you can stay up to date on new episodes. Stream episodes online or download them to play offline. Create podcast playlists, reorder episodes and download the episodes in a playlist one by one or all at once.

Live internet radio and radio recording:

Discover radio stations by country or search by station name. Add the stations you like to your favorites; pick a random station to find something different. Record supported radio streams, choose the recording folder and, on eligible streams, the recording quality. You can choose whether to use high quality streams on mobile data.

Video player:

Watch and search the videos on your phone and organize them into video playlists. Fit the picture to the screen, stretch it or crop it to fill. Keep watching in picture-in-picture mode on supported devices. Save a video's sound as a separate audio file or save a video frame as an image.

Equalizer, alarm and personal library:

Personalize your listening experience with the equalizer, preset sound profiles and audio effects; save your own sound profiles. Set an alarm to wake up to the music or radio station of your choice, and stop playback automatically with the sleep timer. Reach your music, video, podcast and radio favorites in one place; pin the content you use most to the home screen. Go back through your playback history, choose a light, dark or system theme; manage the cache and podcast downloads.

Offline use covers the media files on your device and the podcast episodes you download. Live radio, podcast discovery, online listening and downloads require an internet connection. Availability of streams may vary by provider.
