On August 17, 2025, Bolivia will face a crucial day for the country's democratic destiny. And in times like these, civic engagement cannot be limited solely to the act of voting. It is also everyone's duty to protect their vote.
That is why CuidemosVoto was created, a technological tool driven by citizens committed to transparency, justice, and electoral monitoring. This mobile application has been designed to empower every Bolivian, allowing them to be active players in defending the democratic process.
What is CuidemosVoto?
CuidemosVoto is an electoral monitoring application designed to strengthen citizen participation during the 2025 presidential elections. From your cell phone, you can report irregularities, record results, monitor election day at your polling station, and be part of a national electoral monitoring network, built by and for citizens.
What can you do with CuidemosVoto?
Report incidents in real time
If you detect irregularities at your polling station—such as tampering with voting records, the presence of political propaganda, intimidation, or unjustified delays—you can report them immediately, attaching photographs, videos, or clear descriptions.
Record the quick citizen count
Contribute to an alternative, decentralized verification system by entering the vote count data at your polling station. This information will be compared with the official results to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the process.
Monitor election day
From the beginning to the end of the process, you can document key moments of the voting. Record the exact opening time of your polling station, the number of people who participated, and the official closing time in the app.
Upload the official voting record
Once the vote count is complete, you can take a photograph of the voting record and upload it to the app. This information will be stored, organized, and reviewed as part of a citizen monitoring and oversight mechanism.
Connect with other citizen observers
The app will allow you to connect with other users monitoring different polling stations, thus creating a coordinated, united, and supportive national network in defense of the vote.
Access technical support
In the event of any technical issue or complex situation during election day, you will have a trained support team available to provide you with immediate support and accurate guidance.
Why use CuidemosVoto?
Because democracy doesn't defend itself. It requires committed citizens who understand that their role doesn't end when they place their ballot in the ballot box, but begins when we defend the vote. Your cell phone can be the most powerful tool for citizen oversight. Don't underestimate the power of your participation in Bolivia's democratic process.
This August 17th, the country is counting on you.
Together, let's make the change Bolivia needs possible!
Defend your vote, defend Bolivia!
