About this app

Sabeeli (سبيلي, "my path") is a calm, free companion for the daily life of a Muslim. No ads, no account, no tracking.

PRAYER TIMES UNDER THE REAL SKY
• Prayer times calculated on your phone for wherever you are, with 19 calculation methods. The method is chosen from your country and can be changed, with Asr method, high-latitude rules and minute adjustments to match your mosque.
• The next prayer written across the sky above you: the sun and the moon at their true positions, the moon in its real phase.
• Your day: the five prayers along a timeline coloured by the sky of every hour.
• Gentle notifications with your phone's own sound, silent, or off, prayer by prayer. Each one clears itself when the next prayer begins.
• A home-screen widget with the next prayer.

THE HOLY QURAN
• The 604-page Madani mushaf of the King Fahd Complex, text and font unaltered, in three riwayat: Hafs from ʿAsim, Warsh from Nafiʿ and Qalun from Nafiʿ. The riwayah follows your region, and you can change it.
• Tafsir al-Muyassar and a translation for every ayah; about thirty languages can be downloaded.
• A khatmah plan from 7 to 60 days, with today's pages and surahs.
• The Quran as a night sky: 114 stars that brighten as you read.
• Night, sepia and paper pages, bookmarks and your place saved automatically.

ADHKAR AND TASBIH
• After every prayer, the adhkar of the Sunnah step by step, counted on a misbaha, with Ayat al-Kursi and the three Quls from the mushaf.
• The full Hisn al-Muslim: morning, evening, before sleep and more, each read as a guided session.
• A misbaha of 33 beads you turn with your thumb.

AND ALSO
• The Qibla on a compass or on a globe, with the distance to the Kaaba.
• A Hijri calendar with the moon's real phase that you can adjust to your local sighting.
• Fasting: Ramadan countdowns for iftar and suhoor, and the sunnah fasts (Mondays and Thursdays, the white days, Arafah, Tasuʿa and ʿAshura).
• Optional reminders for the adhkar, your daily reading and fasting, at the time you choose.
• Eleven languages: Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Indonesian, Turkish, Bengali, Malay, Persian, Russian and German, with Western, Arabic or Persian digits.

LIGHT AND PRIVATE
Nothing runs in the background, and the app works offline. Only a position rounded to about a kilometre is sent to OpenStreetMap, to name your town.

Sabeeli is in beta. Its texts and translations still need review by people of knowledge: if you notice anything wrong, shake your phone to send a report.
