About this app

agentring lets your AI agent reach you on your Android phone. When it needs a decision, hits a wall or finishes a long job, it can send you a message or call you, and the call rings like a real phone call, even when your phone is locked.

HOW IT WORKS
• Your agent messages or calls you. Anything that speaks MCP can use agentring: Claude Code, Codex, opencode and other MCP clients. Scripts and other tools can use the CLI or the REST API.
• On a call, a realtime voice AI explains why your agent is calling, answers your questions and passes what you say back to your agent as a transcript. Your agent then carries on with the job.
• You can call your agent too. Tap "Call agent" and ask by voice. The voice AI can ask your agents for help mid-call; if one is slow, its answer arrives later as a message.
• Nothing gets lost: a missed call turns into a message you can answer straight from the notification.

TWO WAYS TO USE IT
• agentring cloud: sign in at agentring.io, pair your phone with a QR code and connect your agent in a few minutes. There is a free plan. Paid plans are optional and managed on the website; there are no purchases in the app.
• Your own server: agentring is open source (Apache-2.0). Run the server yourself with Docker and pair the app with it. Your data then stays on your machines.

PRIVACY
• Calls are not recorded. The audio is streamed live during the call and is gone when it ends.
• No ads, no analytics and no tracking SDKs in the app.
• Everything between the app and the server travels encrypted (HTTPS and secure WebSockets).
• You can delete your agentring cloud account at any time, from the dashboard or by email.

GOOD TO KNOW
• agentring is the phone side of your AI agent setup: the app needs to be paired with an agentring server (agentring cloud or your own) and an agent that uses it.
• agentring is not a telephone service. It does not use phone numbers and cannot be used to call emergency services.
• Requires Android 8 or newer. The app is available in English and Spanish.
• For people aged 16 and over.

Security and reliability update: the call reason follows your lock-screen privacy setting, joining a call asks for an unlock first, and urgent calls respect Do Not Disturb unless you allow them. Clearer messages when your plan's minutes or messages run out.
