Cafe Jukebox turns one Android tablet into a self-hosted music jukebox for a cafe, bar, or small venue — completely offline, no cloud, no accounts.
Staff pick a folder of MP3s on the tablet; the app plays them through a clean now-playing screen with album art, play/pause, skip, and an editable up-next queue. Guests on the venue Wi-Fi scan a QR code to open a web page (no app install) where they can see what's playing and add songs to the queue — shown with their name, like a classic request slip.
• Plays local MP3s — works fully offline on your Wi-Fi • Guests queue songs from their own phones via a QR code (no install) • Now-playing with album art, transport controls, and a reorderable queue • Runs quietly in the background while the tablet is used for other things • Ducks the music automatically when other apps play a sound
