About this app

Sleeve plays the music you already own. Point it at your phone and it reads
your files — no account, no sign-in, no library to build somewhere else.

The design is quiet on purpose: paper and ink, one accent colour, and that accent
is drawn from the sleeve of whatever is playing. Nothing blinks for attention.

YOUR LIBRARY, THE WAY YOU FILE IT
• Songs, Albums, Artists, Genres, Folders and Playlists
• Genres read from your files, so shelves appear even when Android indexed none
• Search across titles, albums and artists, with your recent searches kept
• Hide folders you never want to see — ringtones, voice notes, podcasts

THE PLAYER
• Full-screen sleeve, or the lyrics for the track if the file carries them
• Queue, play next, and add to queue from anywhere in the library
• Sleep timer, playback speed, and crossfade between records
• Loudness levelling, so a quiet record does not disappear after a loud one
• Opens your device's equaliser on the playing session
• Picks up where you left off, mid-track

KEEPING TRACK
• Love a track from the player or from any list
• Recently played, most played, and everything you have loved
• Listening statistics: how long you have listened, and to what

LOOKING AFTER YOUR FILES
• Edit tags — title, artist, album, genre — written back to the file
• Set as ringtone, share, or see the full file details
• Back up your playlists, loves and history, and restore them later

BEYOND THE APP
• Two home-screen widgets for what is playing
• A Quick Settings tile
• Media controls on the lock screen and in your notifications

Light and dark are both first-class, and either can follow your system.

Sleeve is supported by ads. It never asks who you are.
