Vidra plays the videos already on your phone, and stays out of the way while it does. A calm paper-and-ink design, a player that pulls up from the bottom of every screen, and an engine that handles the formats other players choke on.

PLAYS WHAT YOU HAVE
• MP4, MKV, WebM, AVI, MOV, M4V, 3GP, TS, FLV, WMV, MPEG and more — the same VLC-class engine under the hood
• Hardware decoding by default, software when a file needs it
• Open a file straight from your file manager, or paste a stream address

SUBTITLES AND AUDIO
• Embedded subtitle tracks, or load an .srt from anywhere
• Subtitle delay, size and default language
• Switch audio tracks, fix audio sync
• A 10-band equaliser with presets

WATCH YOUR WAY
• Speed from 0.25× to 4× with the pitch kept natural
• Chapters, when a file has them
• A–B repeat for the part you keep going back to
• Aspect ratio, fill, fit, and deinterlacing
• Sleep timer, including “at the end of this video”
• Grab a frame as a picture

GESTURES
• Double-tap to skip ten seconds, hold for 2× while you hold
• Swipe for brightness and volume, drag to seek, pinch to fill
• Lock the screen so nothing moves while you watch

KEEPS GOING
• Picture-in-picture when you leave
• Keep listening with the screen off
• Resume where you stopped, with a Continue watching row up front

Vidra has no account and no cloud. Your videos never leave your phone. It is supported by a small ad in the library; nothing else is collected.
