Soaply is a soap making calculator that tells you exactly how much lye and water your recipe needs — and shows you where every number came from.

Put in your oils and their amounts. Soaply gives you the sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, the water, and the finished batch weight, updating as you type. No sign-up, no internet, no waiting.

WHY THE NUMBERS CAN BE TRUSTED

Every saponification value in Soaply was taken from two independent published sources and cross-checked against each other. Where the two disagree, the oil is flagged, and the sources are printed on the batch sheet next to the figures they produced. You are never asked to trust a number you cannot trace.

This matters more here than in most apps. Lye burns. A calculator that is quietly wrong is worse than no calculator at all.

- Scale a batch by any factor, with a preview before anything changes
- Save, duplicate and search your recipes; 39 oils, searchable by name or common alias
- A batch sheet that shows the lye figure large, the per-oil breakdown underneath, and the sources beside them

No adverts. No account. No cloud. Your recipes are written to your own phone and are never uploaded anywhere — we could not read them if we wanted to.

Export every recipe to JSON or CSV whenever you like. That export is free forever: before the trial, during it, after it ends, and whether or not you ever pay. Your work is yours.

The price is shown in full before you commit anything, in your own currency, and you can subscribe on day one if you want to — you are never made to wait for a trial to expire before you are allowed to pay.

FREE TRIAL

Soaply opens with everything unlocked for 21 days. No card is asked for, nothing renews on its own, and the trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself. If you decide not to subscribe, nothing is deleted: your recipes stay on your phone, stay readable, and stay exportable.

SAFETY

Sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are caustic and can cause serious burns and permanent eye injury. Soaply does the arithmetic and cites its sources, but it cannot know what is actually in the oils in front of you. Wear eye protection and gloves, work with the air moving, and check the figures before you pour anything.
