Toque is a remote control for Claude Code sessions running on machines you own — a laptop, a desktop, a Raspberry Pi, all of them at once.
WHAT YOU NEED
Toque pairs with the free, open-source Toque server. Install it on any Mac, Linux box or Pi that has Claude Code with one command (it's in the app under "Set up a server"), reach it over Tailscale or a Cloudflare Tunnel, and paste the URL into the app. No account, no cloud in the middle: the app talks straight to your server.
Not sure yet? Tap "Try the demo" on the first screen for a sample fleet that runs entirely on the phone.
WHAT IT DOES
• See every session across every machine: what it's working on, how much context it has used, whether it's waiting on you.
• Approve or deny permission requests from the lock screen. Answer questions. Type follow-ups. Run a shell command.
• Launch a new session on any machine: pick the repo, write the prompt, choose a model and a worktree.
• Read the live transcript as it happens, with tool calls folded into chips.
• Get a result when an autonomous run finishes: a diff summary, an optional quality grade, and the findings the agent filed along the way.
• Decide how much an unattended run may do on its own: off, safe (read-only stops asking) or medium (edits, git and builds too). A safety floor always prompts for credentials, force-pushes and anything irreversible, and a spend cap raises the gate when a run crosses it.
• Search the shared Brain: the notes your agents have written down across all your projects, with a graph of how they link.
• Track token use and estimated cost by machine, repo and model.
• Attach to the terminal. Wake a sleeping machine. Schedule launches.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
While the app is open it polls your server. For pushes when it's closed, the server needs a push relay: bring your own Firebase project, or use the hosted relay. Either way it is server configuration, not something the app sells or unlocks.
OPEN SOURCE
The server is MIT-licensed at gitlab.com/tpty42/toque-server. This app is the client.
Install the app, tap Try the demo, then set up your server when you're ready.
Run Claude Code agents from your phone. Approve, steer, watch. Self-hosted.
