Designed as a modern, battery-friendly alternative to Always On Display (AOD) and edge lighting, AuraLook gives your device a cinematic lock screen alert experience.



⚡ HOW IT WORKS (WAKE SCREEN ALERTS)

AuraLook only triggers when your screen is OFF. When a new notification arrives, it gracefully animates a bold app icon and clean alert on a pitch-black AMOLED background, then puts your screen right back to sleep. It works seamlessly whether your system Always On Display is enabled or turned off.



🧠 SMART FILTERING & POCKET DETECTION

Your screen shouldn't wake up for every background task.

- Pocket Mode: Uses your phone sensors to keep the screen completely off while inside your pocket or bag.

- DND Sync: If your phone is on Do Not Disturb, AuraLook stays completely quiet.

- Clutter Control: Automatically ignores silent alerts, music players, system services, and ongoing downloads.



🔋 TRUE AMOLED BATTERY SAVER

Unlike a 24/7 Always On Display, AuraLook only lights up pixels for a few seconds when you get an alert. By using a true #000000 black background, surrounding OLED and AMOLED pixels stay completely turned off for maximum visibility with near-zero battery drain.



📱 FLUID LOCK SCREEN GESTURES

- Single tap to dismiss the alert.

- Double tap to turn off the screen immediately (Requires Accessibility Service).

- Swipe up to directly open the notification.

- Swipe left/right to browse through the notifications.



🛡️ 100% OFFLINE & PRIVATE

AuraLook requires ZERO internet permissions. It is physically impossible for the app to transmit data, read your personal messages, or upload contact photos. Everything stays 100% locally on your device.

⚠️ COMPATIBILITY NOTES

- Smartwatches: Fully compatible with Wear OS (Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch). If notifications stop syncing to third-party watches, simply disable the 'DND approach' in AuraLook’s advanced settings or disable DND Sync in your smartwatch companion app.

- System Conflicts: To prevent overlapping popups, turn off native screen-waking features (e.g., Pixel's "Wake screen for notifications").



(Disclosure: AuraLook uses the Notification Listener Service to detect incoming alerts and the Accessibility Service API solely to securely turn your screen off on double-tap.)
