Remember is built around one simple idea: if you dismiss a reminder without finishing the task, it comes back. No important item disappears just because you accidentally swiped away a notification.

Mark the note done, and the reminder is gone for good.

Move into Remember from Google Tasks using a connected account or a Google Takeout file. Import is read-only; Remember does not modify or delete your Google Tasks data.

Export your notes and settings to a backup, optionally including attached media. Restore when moving to a new device, or import a backup to merge notes into your current collection.

Choose Material You wallpaper colors, hand-tuned color presets, your own custom colors & fonts, palette styles, gradient backgrounds, black OLED mode, cover images, and more. Theming is deep - the app can look and feel very different from any other notes app on your phone.

Your notes are stored entirely locally. Zero tracking, analytics, or automated background telemetry. No data leaves your phone without your explicit action (such as optional update checks or manually exporting a backup).

What’s new

* Selected notes widget: Display notes and lists on your home screen by category - choose from all notes, starred, pinned, or any specific tag. Multiple widgets can be added to your home screen with independent filters.
* In-widget filter switcher: Switch between all, starred, pinned, or tag collections at any time by tapping the new settings gear icon directly in the widget header.
* Alphabetical sorting: Sort notes and lists based on Title, A to Z or Z to A.
