About this app

Old favourites. New worlds.

Pohádkov is a free, growing catalogue of bedtime stories told in episodes: Czech classics alongside new series written for bedtime. Come back to the characters your child knows, night after night.

READ ALOUD OR LISTEN
• Read together on screen at your own pace, with adjustable text and a dim mode for reading in the dark
• Or play the narration, when a story has one, and follow along in the text
• Listening carries on when the screen locks, with lock-screen controls

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE STARTING
• Every series shows its episode length and the age it suits
• Classics like Prince Bayaya and Salt Above Gold, plus new series written for bedtime
• Stories in Czech, Slovak and English

ONE LIBRARY FOR THE FAMILY
• Save series to your family library and pick up exactly where you stopped
• Invite the other grown-ups who put the children to bed; everyone shares the same library and progress

UNINTERRUPTED
Free, with no ads. Only what you chose plays, and when it ends, it is quiet.
