LAM is a film camera collection, not a filter app.
Nine cameras. Each one is a complete instrument — its own lens character, vignette, grain structure, colour response and shutter sound. You pick a body the way you would pick a camera off a shelf, and everything downstream changes with it.
THE NINE BODIES
• Classic — Swiss rangefinder, 1960s. Clean glass, gentle falloff.
• Disposable — 1990s USA. Plastic lens, heavy barrel distortion, on-camera flash.
• CCD Digicam — Asian Y2K digicam, 2003. Sharp CCD optics, that early-web look.
• 16mm Cine — Vietnamese arthouse. Clockwork-cine vignette, poetic and soft.
• Y2K Pink — 1999. Pink-shift colour, consumer plastic optics.
• Portia Studio — medium-format professional, 1995. Minimal vignette, portrait glass.
• Instant Mini — Japan, 2010s. Instant-print palette, fine grain.
• Saigon — tropical Southeast Asian film, 1990s. Warm, humid, green-heavy.
• Seoul — Korean indie compact, 2005. Cool, clean, early K-drama tone.
16 FILM STOCKS
Each stock is built from a real characteristic curve — the D-logE response that gives film its shoulder and toe — not a colour overlay dropped on top of your photo. Shadows keep detail. Highlights roll off instead of clipping. Halation blooms around bright edges the way it does on real emulsion.
REAL TONE FOR ASIAN SKIN
Five skin-tone modes, tuned so that warm and neutral Asian complexions stay natural under tungsten, fluorescent and tropical daylight — the lighting where most auto white balance goes wrong.
36 SHOTS PER ROLL
Turn on Roll mode and you get a real film counter. 36 exposures, then the roll ends and a contact sheet is developed from everything you shot. It changes how you shoot: you slow down, you compose, you stop firing twenty frames at one subject.
42 LOOKS, ONE TAP
42 built-in recipes pair a stock with a body and full camera settings. Each has a shareable code, so a look you like can be handed to someone else as text.
VIDEO GETS THE SAME LOOK
The film look is rendered into your video, not just your stills. The body, the stock, the grain and the halation you see in the viewfinder are what lands in the saved file — no export step, no second app. As the phone warms up during a long take, LAM steps quality down in stages instead of stopping the recording.
HONEST TOOLS
• Process Zero — turns LAM's own grade off completely and saves what the sensor pipeline delivered. No look, no grain, no halation.
• Honest LOG — a flat capture profile for grading later.
• A distinct shutter for every body — nine mechanical voices, each built for its era.
• Night mode — multi-frame fusion for low light.
PRO
• Pro Controls — AF lock, manual ISO and shutter, EV compensation, Log mode.
• LUT Export — export a look as a .cube file for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Premium bodies and recipes.
ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Pro is bought once and kept. No subscription, no monthly fee, no ads, no watermark on Pro. A separate Food Pack adds restaurant white-balance lock and a top-down food grid.
PRIVACY
Photos and video are processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded for processing. There is no account to create.
FIVE INTERFACES
The camera itself changes character with you. Noir, Sakura, Chrome, Jade and Luna are complete personalities — colour, typography, leather texture and shutter feel — not colour swaps. Themes are free. All five ship with the app.
WHO THIS IS FOR
People who shot film and miss it. Vloggers and creators who want a look straight out of camera instead of an hour of grading. Anyone tired of a phone camera that smooths a face into plastic and calls it a portrait.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
Not an AI generator. Not a sticker pack. Nothing here invents detail that was not in front of your lens.
17 languages. Built by one developer who wanted a camera that remembers what film felt like.
9 film cameras, 9 film cultures — 36 shots per roll. One-time.
