About this app

Write your notes once and Study Lab turns them into flashcards, quizzes and fill-in-the-blanks. Study what you actually wrote, see which topics you've mastered, and keep going over the questions you get wrong.

Notes that make their own study set
Pick a note style and write as usual. Study Lab builds study items from what you write:
• Cornell: cue questions become flashcards, quizzes and fill-in-the-blanks
• Outline: main points become flashcards and quizzes
• Charting: tables become flashcards and fill-in-the-blanks
• Sentence: quick notes and definitions become fill-in-the-blanks
Highlight any word to turn it into a blank. Edit a note and your progress on its cards stays.

Every way to study
Flashcards, multiple-choice quizzes, fill-in-the-blanks and match pairs. Auto Mix puts them together in one session and puts your weakest items first.

Reviews at the right time
Rate each card Got it, Unsure or Missed it. Study Lab uses spaced repetition to bring each card back when you're about to forget it, so you spend time on what you don't know yet.

Mistakes come back
Every question you miss goes into your mistake bank, with the answer and the note it came from. Review them all in one tap.

Know what to study next
Home shows your mastery for every subject and suggests sessions for your weak spots. History shows every session you've done.

Organised your way
Group notes by subject and topic, add tags, pin the notes you use most and search across titles and note text. Export any note, or all of them, as PDF or Markdown.

Your notes stay on your phone
No account needed. Your notes, cards and progress are stored on your device and never uploaded.

• Editing a note no longer resets your progress: mastery, mistakes and review schedules now stay with your notes.
• Teach Mode (Premium) scores what you actually explain, tells you why an answer can't be scored, and doesn't count time spent outside the app.
• Mistake cards show the whole fill-in-the-blank question.
• The note editor asks before discarding only when you've changed something, including when you swipe back.
