About this app

What you remember is often a single sentence within a document, not the file name.

Chatda reads the documents on your phone not only by name but also by the text, so it can find them even if you ask using a sentence.

■ This app does not have internet permissions

- Search terms, file names, and document content do not go anywhere. The app cannot establish a connection at the operating system level.

- There are no accounts or logins, and there are no ads or tracking. The thin line at the very top of the screen is a link introducing other programs, apps, and games from the developer (Project Team For You), and the phone's browser opens only when you tap it — the app does not directly connect or send anything.

- You can verify directly that there is no internet access in the "Permissions" list in the app information.

■ Searches down to the main text

- Hangul (including HWP, HWPX, and government-issued documents), PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ODF, Text

- Documents inside compressed zip files

- You can ask in sentences: "How much is the penalty fee?"

- Twelve language screens: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi

■ Understands language

- Search by initial consonant (e.g., ㅇㅇㄱ → penalty fee)

- Corrects keyboard typos (e.g., mistakes switching between Korean and English)

- Narrow by conditions: ext:hwp, date:2026-09, size:>10mb

■ Immediately after finding

- Open file, send to another app

- Preview the found passage in the document

■ A more powerful PC version is also available (Windows)

- 1 million file names This is "Chatda" for Windows, which indexes in under a second and searches not only HWP, PDF, and Office text files, but also scanned documents (OCR) and documents within ZIP files.

- As it is a searcher identical to the one on your phone, it performs the same searches for initial consonants, keyboard typos, and sentence lengths. All searches are conducted exclusively within your PC.

■ The Reason for Using Access to All Files

- To find any document located anywhere on your phone, it must read all files on the device. It only reads files; it does not modify, delete, or send them outside the device.
