About this app

Backmarker is a sim dashboard for Gran Turismo 7 that turns your phone or tablet into a second screen next to your wheel or controller. It reads the live telemetry GT7 sends over your Wi-Fi on PS4 and PS5, so you get a full sim racing dashboard with no PC needed: no SimHub, no extra hardware.

Backmarker is an unofficial companion app made by a fan. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Sony Interactive Entertainment or Polyphony Digital.

LIVE DASHBOARD
- About 50 widgets: analog speedometer (km/h or mph) and tachometer, RPM bar, rev lights and numeric RPM, shift light, gear, throttle and brake

LIVE DELTA TIMING
- Pick a reference lap and see a live delta bar and time as you drive
- Position-based: matched by where you are on track, not by elapsed time

FUEL CALCULATOR
- Fuel per lap, live average, fuel laps remaining and fuel margin
- Laps remaining matches the figure the game shows, with an early estimate from lap 2

LAP ANALYSIS
- Track map with zoom and pan, and speed, brake and throttle charts against distance
- Per-corner breakdown of every lap
- Lap comparison against a reference lap with a delta strip and chart
- Ranked tips on where you lose time: early braking, trail braking, brake release, coasting, late throttle, apex and exit speed, racing line, lock-ups and wheelspin

REPLAY TELEMETRY
- Record telemetry from in-game GT7 replays
- Use a replay as your delta reference or open it in Lap Analysis

SESSION HISTORY
- Every session and lap recorded automatically on your device
- Search and filter sessions by track, car, tyre and date
- Sessions named "Track - Car" automatically from a built-in car and track list (cars up to game update 1.72), with a manual track picker
- Storage settings: keep only the fastest lap, auto-delete after 30 or 90 days, see storage usage and clean up

TRAINING MODE
- Braking training and input drills with target windows and audio cues

EASY CONNECTION
- Enter your console's IP address, or let the app find it, with a setup tutorial
- No in-game setting to change
- Survives short Wi-Fi drops and shows the connection status

PRIVACY
